GGP Software Helps London Borough Join Up Frontline Services

Gazetteer Management software from GGP Systems is helping Havering Council maintain and integrate essential information to support the delivery of key frontline services. The system provides immediate online access to accurate and up to date property details that are fundamental in the provision of services such as waste, recycling and housing.

The Council’s centralised gazetteer, maintained and integrated with other back office systems using GGP NGz, is also used to generate essential revenue streams for the Council by underpinning both Council Tax and Non Domestic Rates collections. The software also ensures the Council’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is up to date allowing for the speedy identification of service requests and issues from householders.

Havering Council uses GGP Systems’s NGz software to manage and maintain its Local Land and Property Gazetteer. With a range of tools and functionality GGP NGz is part of suite of Gazetteer Management Software that has been specifically designed to help Local Authorities and other users of address data to manage, maintain, use and share essential records.

GGP NGz also helps Havering Council to maintain and update records held in a number of back office service delivery systems for example those used by Housing, Waste Management, the Electoral Register, Council Tax and Non Domestic Rates.

GGP GMS also manages the import and export of data between the local authority databases and the NLPG, the national hub, and the complete product suite was one of the first two software solutions to receive accreditation for address data transfer (DTF 7.3), is fully compliant with BS7666 and users of GGP software regularly achieve recognition at the national NLPG Exemplar Awards.
