Exciting times ahead

With AGI and Everything Happens Somewhere now been and gone, the show season might be over, but for us here at GGP Systems it’s full steam ahead.

The many visitors who came to our stand and saw our demos at both shows may already know that the next few months have some exciting things in store from GGP Systems. In particular, we’re moving to launch several new products, plus a new service aimed at helping GIS users throughout the UK to comply with the latest INSPIRE requirements.

All systems go

On the product front, it’s all systems go as we release new versions of our GIS and Gazetteer software products. These include eNGZ, the web-based version of our award-winning NGz gazetteer management software, now with Oracle & SQL. Using eNGz, it’s possible to search millions of complex address records and still get a result within two seconds of posting a query, giving you fast access to accurate and reliable data.

Already trialled by one of the UKs leading police support organisations, GGP eNGz has proved to be especially ideal for frontline 999 emergency call handling, with scope for potential application in a much wider range of other markets.

Another great product now available is GGP SNN, our new fully integrated tool which takes the confusion out of street naming and numbering. Now, instead of property-related street numbering and naming data being hidden away and private to the SNN officer in a local authority, GGP SNN makes it fully available to anyone who can benefit from accessing it.

There are some great new functions within GGP SNN, including the NGzGaz app, a great desktop tool which makes it simpler than ever to find or query addresses and retrieve properties from your authority’s gazetteer.

Let us INSPIRE you

To help make sure you hit all the deadlines, we’re offering a new service where we will handle and publish all of your metadata on your behalf. We’ve got a team of specialists who will not only make sure you hit the deadline, but will also take the time and cost out of the process for you. Please call us to find out more about our services.
