eNLPG

eNLPG provides access to your Councils GGP NGz database over the corporate intranet.  There is no limit on the number of users accessing this module.  eNLPG will save you time in cleaning your data, as users are able to see the definitive address database and have the opportunity to feed amendments back to a Custodian to review and implement if appropriate.  eNLPG allows the user to conduct a street and/or property search, view all details including the acknowledged postal address. If an address differs from the BS7666 Address or is missing, both can be fed back to the LLPG custodians. Amendments are fed back by email, with details of the original record and proposed change.

UPRN’s or address information can be copied into backend applications while waiting for live links to the LLPG. This means applications do not need to get out of the sync with the LLPG and cuts down on Address Matching anomalies. The Cross References for new records in backend applications can be pasted back into eNLPG to be stored in the Cross Reference table. The postal address for any record can be copied from eNLPG for labels for letters by any user.

eNLPG can be used for rectifying Address Matching anomalies where any mismatch files are given back to the custodian using eNLPG to locate the correct UPRN for their Cross Reference and address record. The result of which is then emailed back to the LLPG custodian linking the UPRN to the correct cross reference. This dramatically cuts down on the massive workload surrounding address matching records.

eNLPG also links to eGGP, so that a property location can be viewed. This function gives users a second check between the text and the correct location, which is useful where two properties have similar names in different parts of an area. eNLPG also gives the option of validating the spatial location as well as the textual information of the address.

Users of eNLPG can also see the other cross references held against a UPRN. Users can search by cross reference to get the correct address or another cross reference value. Users can be given differing levels of permission based on their login.

The other key benefit of eNLPG is that it makes all employees aware of the corporate LLPG and encourages them to respect its integrity and make use of it, rather than duplicating address creation and/or management for their own departmental purposes.
