GGP GIS is an extremely powerful system that lies at the heart of many
Public Sector organisations’ data sharing and accessibility needs. When
coupled with GGP NGz, GGP’s Land and Property Gazetteer Management
solution, these two sector leading products provide the core around
which Public Sector organisations can manage and integrate all their
geographic and property related information.
Initially developed for the very specific needs of UK local government,
GGP GIS has now evolved to become one of the leading Geographic
Information System for Public Sector organisations, underpinning the
delivery of the latest generation of integrated and web-enabled
services.
The value of this geographic and property data can be further enhanced through the addition of other GGP applications and tools.

GGP Map
GGP Map is a simple to use map management tool, allowing quick
and easy viewing and printing of maps. Hard copy maps can be produced
from pre-saved templates and scripts so that a printout of your
important data can be produced quickly by anyone, without the risk that
the data may be modified. GGP Map allows unlimited access to gazetteers
for quick map access. Simply enter an address or a reference, such as a
planning application number and the correct area of the map is
immediately displayed. Maps can be annotated with text, lines and
symbols, distances and site areas can still be calculated.
GGP View
GGP View is a view-only version of GGP GIS. View planning,
highways, environmental health and other records by simply clicking on
buildings, streets or areas on the map. Perform full spatial analysis,
link to external systems and generate consultation lists spatially. GGP
View allows full map annotation such as red-outlining a property,
measuring distances and marking site areas while still restricting
users to view-only access of existing datasets. GGP View also has the
full range of printing facilities, using templates to produce
professional consistent results quickly and easily.
GGP View and GGP Map are designed to form part of a total corporate
solution. Through a corporate wide network, both packages interact
seamlessly with GGP GIS. GGP Map and GGP View, although restricted to
viewing and printing, share the 'look and feel' of the full GGP GIS
product.
